This time, I created a new home-made MacOS app.
The name is called "Minimal Timer".
In addition, from thought that I want to make some application, I made up at a stretch over one day!
As a result, it has become a form to some extent, so I am currently transitioning to the app application step.
In this article, I will give a brief overview of "Minimal Timer" and its basic usage.
Basically, it is a simple design, so I don't think there will be anything wrong with it.
For now, just in case.
What is "Minimal Timer"?
"Minimal Timer" is a MacOS application that I (Shingo Suzuki) created.
As its name suggests, it is basically a timer application with a minimum configuration.
In addition to timers, this app also has stopwatch and clock functions.
Again, these features are minimal.
In the timer, just specify the time and then start / stop / clear.
Stopwatch is only for start / stop / clear.
For the clock, just display the current time.
It has only three basic functions.
This is useful when you want to use a timer, stopwatch or watch for a moment.
How to use "Minimal Timer"
So, let's talk about the basic usage of "Minimal Timer".
It's so easy, so I think you can learn how to operate immediately.
When you start the app, you can use this feature first.
This function allows you to specify the time and start / stop / clear the timer.
In the frame of "Time", there are text fields next to "Hour", "Min" and "Sec" respectively.
Enter the time you want to set there.
For example, if you set 5 minutes 30 seconds, please enter the text to be "5 Min 30 Sec".
After entering the time, click the "Start" button to start the timer.
Click the "Stop" button to stop the timer prematurely.
Click the "Clear" button to clear the timer.
To use the stopwatch function, press the radio button labeled "Stop Watch".
Then the app will be in stopwatch mode.
All you can do here is the stopwatch's start / stop / clear.
"Start" "Stop" "Clear" button correspond respectively.
To use the clock function, press the radio button labeled "Clock".
Then the app will be in clock mode.
In watch mode, the current date and time will be displayed every moment.
It's just that.
In this article, I tried to summarize the outline of my MacOS application "Minimal Timer" and how to use it.
It is an application with only three basic functions.
Surely there should be demand.
By the way, this app is a paid app.
At the moment, I plan to sell for 240 yen ($1.99).
If you want a really simple timer, stopwatch, watch app ...
I think this app is perfect!
When the app is released, I will add a link from this article.
