Hi, I'm Shingo Suzuki, also known as Suzushin.

Suzushin Lab is where I share my efforts to turn my life around by trying different things and figuring out how to make them work.

Honestly, I'm not satisfied with where I am now. If I simply drift through each day, not much will change. That concern led me to decide to try different things instead of standing still.

What matters to me

Enjoying the process, as well as the results.

I don't intend to fill this blog with polished success stories. I'd rather write honestly about the times when things aren't going well, and the uncertainty along the way.

What I'm trying now

• Chess: I've made my own dan and kyu ranking system based on Chess.com ratings to make improving more enjoyable. I'm studying the London System and Pirc Defence, though I still struggle to use them and keep losing! (laughs)
• Making games: I invent and refine original games, including オーバーライド (Override), a card game that began as a way to pass the time during a hospital stay.
• Working with AI: I'm also developing this blog's writing, SEO research, proofreading, and monetization strategy through trial and error with an agent team built using Claude Code. I'm figuring out what to make more efficient and what I want to keep doing myself.

Who I hope will read this

• People who want to try something new
• People who want to keep pursuing a hobby or building their own projects seriously
• People interested in real trial and error rather than tidy success stories

What's next

This blog is still just getting started. I'll probably explore different areas rather than focus on a single genre, but the underlying theme will stay the same.

I also plan to try more things related to money, such as saving, investing, and side work.

Working toward turning my life around, by taking on challenges and figuring things out.

I'll keep sharing that process. I'd be glad if you'd follow along.
