I'm Shingo Suzuki (suzushin), the person behind the blog "SUZUSHINLAB"

In this post, I'd like to give you a brief introduction about myself.
I’ve summarized my background and my plans for the future—so I hope you’ll read all the way through!

My Background

Here's a brief overview of my career journey so far.

My Time Preparing for a Public Service Career

After graduating from college, I began studying to become a public servant.
I aimed for a position at my local city office and spent some time retaking the entrance exam.
Unfortunately, I fell just short of the final pass.
Despite several attempts, I was never able to secure the position, and ultimately, I decided to give up on the idea of becoming a public servant.

Eight Years of Unemployment

After that, I found myself in a state of inertia with no motivation to do anything.
I drifted through life, unemployed, for about eight years.
Looking back, I feel that those years were truly wasted—I wish I had started doing something sooner.

Venturing into Freelancing

I reached a point where I thought, “I can’t go on like this! I need to do something!”
With that determination, I took the plunge and started working as a freelancer.
However, even after starting out on my own, I struggled to secure work, and my financial situation became quite challenging.
I tried various ways to earn a living, but nothing seemed to click.

A Fresh Start with "SUZUSHINLAB"

Amidst all these challenges, I decided to launch my blog, "SUZUSHINLAB" I wanted to leverage my experiences and knowledge to share information with others.
On this blog, I tackle various life events and challenges—what I call "life challenges"—and propose solutions.
Rather than running an ordinary blog, I strive to write from a slightly unconventional perspective, hoping to make it an enjoyable read.

Future Plans

Here's a quick look at what I have planned for the future.

Blog Updates

Primarily, I’ll continue to focus on this blog, "SUZUSHINLAB".
I plan to propose solutions to various "life challenges" and also share insights on daily happenings and things that catch my interest.

Independent Game Development

I often find that the games available just don’t resonate with me.
So, I thought, why not create one myself?
I ventured into independent game development.

In fact, I’ve released a few game apps in the past.
Although there’s been quite a gap since my last project, I’m excited to develop new games.
Someday, I hope to create a game that becomes popular and brings joy to many.

Music Composition

I also have a passion for music and enjoy composing.
I create my own tracks and share them on YouTube and other platforms.
Although my work is still a work in progress, I’m determined to keep at it.
My dream is to someday compose music that truly resonates with someone’s heart.

Publishing a Kindle Book

I plan to compile the content from my blog into a Kindle book.
This book will offer solutions to various "life challenges."
By publishing it, I hope to reach an even wider audience.
I’m also considering writing a novel—though it would be my first time.
It sounds exciting to craft an original story, and I’m eager to see where that journey takes me.

Investing

Currently, I’m involved in stock investments, cryptocurrency investments, and investment trusts.
While investing comes with risks, the potential rewards can be significant.
Recognizing the importance of asset management, I intend to continue investing.

After graduating from university, I aimed to become a public servant but failed. After an 8-year period of unemployment, I made up my mind and switched to freelancing. However, I endured long days with zero income… In 2025, realizing that things couldn’t continue like this, I started this blog. I now tackle life’s challenges as a “Life Challenge Hunter,” sharing my journey toward a dramatic turnaround through trial and error.
