BloggingConsistencyMotivation

Hello, I'm Shingo Suzuki (Suzushin).

It's been quite a while since I published my last post.
I couldn't think of things to write about, and my motivation for blogging had dropped, so I wasn't able to write.
I'm really sorry I haven't been updating the blog, especially when there are people who take the time to visit.

Part of the problem was that I'd set the bar too high for publishing a post...
From now on, I'd like to lower that bar so I can write more casually.

I'd Like to Take a More Relaxed Approach to Writing

Until now, whenever I sat down to write a blog post, I felt it had to be something substantial.
I thought every post needed to be a high-quality piece that felt satisfying to read on its own.
In other words, I was being a perfectionist.

But with that mindset, it's hard to ever publish something I'm happy with.
This is my personal blog, after all, and I've started to think it's okay to take a more relaxed approach.

I used to think I needed to achieve something before I could write about it...
From now on, I'd like to feel more comfortable sharing short updates and work in progress, too.
I've also decided there's no need to make every post long.
I'm starting to think a short post of around 1,000 Japanese characters is fine.
Of course, when I have something more substantial to write about, I'll write more.

Starting with What I Want to Write About

Lately, I haven't really been taking on anything I'd call a challenge.
So I'd like to start by trying things close to home and sharing the process and results.

Until I get used to this new writing style, the frequency and quality of my posts might vary a bit...
I'd be really happy if you felt like coming back to read more.
